How to Split a PDF Into Separate Files (Any Way You Need)
A 100-page PDF report doesn't need to go to everyone in full. Splitting lets you extract exactly what you need and share it independently.
Split Methods Available
1. Split by page ranges
Extract specific pages like 1-5, 8, 11-20. Each range becomes its own PDF file.
2. Split every N pages
Divide the PDF into equal-sized chunks. A 30-page document split every 10 pages gives you three 10-page PDFs.
3. Extract every page individually
Split every single page into its own PDF.
4. Split by bookmarks
If the PDF has bookmarks (a table of contents), split at each chapter bookmark.

Common Splitting Scenarios
Extracting a chapter: Use page range split. Enter the first and last page of the chapter.
